Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash — we never store or can see your plaintext password), or basic profile info if you sign in with Google.
- Resume, cover letter, and interview content: everything you enter into the resume builder, cover letter generator, mock interview simulator, and job match tool — including any resume or job description text/files you upload or paste.
- Payment information: when you purchase Premium, payment is processed entirely by Razorpay. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and its amount — we never receive or store your card number, CVV, or full payment credentials.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (e.g. which features you use, AI credit usage) needed to operate the free-tier limits and improve the product.
2. How we use it
To provide the service itself (generating your resume analysis, cover letters, interview questions, and job match reports), to enforce plan limits, to communicate with you about your account, and to improve CVIEX. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Third parties we share data with
- Google (Gemini API): resume, cover letter, interview, and job description text you submit is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the AI features. See Google's Gemini API terms for how Google handles this data.
- Razorpay: processes all payments. See Razorpay's privacy policy.
- MongoDB Atlas: our database provider, used to store your account and content data.
- Google OAuth: if you choose to sign in with Google, basic profile information (name, email) is shared per Google's sign-in terms.
4. Data retention & deletion
We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at info@webraftstudio.in — we'll process deletion requests within 7 business days, except where we're required to retain records for legal or accounting reasons (e.g. payment records).
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact info@webraftstudio.in to exercise these rights.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. How billing works
CVIEX Premium is a one-time purchase for a fixed period (1 month or 1 year, depending on what you select) — not an auto-renewing subscription. Your card is only ever charged when you actively choose to pay; nothing renews automatically, and there is nothing to "cancel" in the traditional subscription sense. When your paid period ends, your account simply reverts to the Free plan unless you purchase again.
2. Refunds
If you're not satisfied with Premium, you may request a refund within 7 days of your purchase by contacting info@webraftstudio.in with your account email and order details. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Razorpay and typically take 7 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Refund requests made after this window, or for periods already substantially used, are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
3. Failed or disputed payments
If a payment fails, no charge occurs and no access is granted. If you believe you were charged in error, contact info@webraftstudio.in before initiating a chargeback with your bank — we can typically resolve billing issues faster directly.
