1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using CVIEX ("the Service", operated by CViEx, "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Description of service

CVIEX provides an AI-assisted resume builder, ATS score analyzer, cover letter generator, mock interview simulator, and job match tool. Some AI features are powered by third-party AI models (currently Google's Gemini API) — outputs are generated content and are provided "as is."

3. AI-generated content — accuracy disclaimer

ATS scores, cover letters, interview feedback, and job match analysis are generated by AI and are provided as guidance only. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or that using them will result in job offers, interview success, or any particular outcome. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content before using it (e.g. submitting a resume or cover letter to an employer).

4. Accounts

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

5. Plans, pricing, and payment

CVIEX offers a Free plan with limited features and usage, and a Premium plan available as a one-time purchase for a fixed period (monthly or yearly). Premium does not auto-renew — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full billing details. We may change pricing for future purchases at any time; changes won't affect a period you've already paid for.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate false, fraudulent, or misleading credentials, qualifications, or work history.
• Attempt to circumvent Free plan usage limits (e.g. automated abuse of AI credits).
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the Service.
• Upload content that's illegal, infringes others' rights, or contains malicious code.
• Use the job-match URL/PDF import feature to process content you don't have the right to submit.

7. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the resume, cover letter, and other content you create using CVIEX. We retain all rights to the CVIEX platform, software, design, and branding. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service (including sending it to third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVIEX and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content or job application outcomes. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
